    Question Orange ACE Fault -

I've had intermittent orange ACE fault light coming on once a fortnight or so over the last month. Generally turning the vehicle off and back on resolved it (temporarily). Yesterday it wouldn't go away until I plugged in the Nanocom, read the codes and cleared them. The following errors are displaying:

    Any tips for resolving this?

Which is the pressure control valve (2, 4 or 5)?

With 5 are the two valves next to each other the same?

    EDIT:

Looking at Microcat, it looks like 4 and 5 are both called Pressure Control Valves.
    4 is RVT100021.
    5 is RVT500010.
For 5 there are two identical.
Around GBP 96.00 each for new ones.

So how do I identify which one of the three are causing the issue?

I wonder if its like the amigoes where you get so many resets than a hard fault?
    mine does it too occasionally.

I just read http://www.discovery2.co.uk/ACE_transducer.html , but he doesn't elaborate on how they diagnosed which of the four was at fault.

The only problem is that nanocom is not reliable in ACE fault code description area, it used to give wrong fault codes quite often, you should do somehow to double check the code with T4, hawkeye or lynx before you spend modey on parts, what i can tell you is that on a working system the resistance of the pressure controll valve(blue, nr.4 on diagram) which is on the rear of the block should be 5.6 Ohm and the resistance of the two DCVs(nr.5) on the top 2.7 Ohm., i dont know the resistance of the transducer but if everything is OK in the pressure zone you should get around 20 bar pressure reading stationary with engine running just that as long as the warning is on you must bridge the ACE relay to be able to read live data(in the live data area nancom is good enough)
