send roverlord (Mario & heather) a pm they can supply the ball joints with fast service and a good price![]()
A few weeks back I wrote off my D1 and had to get a new car.
I put down a deposit on a 2002 Disco 2 last week and will be picking it up this week
The previous owner tells me that when he had a pre-roadworthy done they flagged the upper and lower ball joints (torn boots) and the front ACE cylinder had a leak (fairly easy to replace I think)
I would like to replace the ball joints myself, but I understand the job can be a little hard and requires some specialised tools.
Would anyone be willing to lend me a hand?
I am fairly comfortable with most mechanical repairs, but the last thing I want to do is dismantle the front end and leave it parked in the drive for 2 weeks because I cant get the ball joints out.
Also, where is the best place to purchase parts in VIC?
Thanks,
Dizza

Hi Outback,
Bugger, just ordered some stuff of Roverlord, wish I had known this about three days ago....... I'll PM and see if I have any luck. Thank you.
Cheers Marty
I can confirm that the ball joints Mario has just got in stock are top notch....my mechanic was very impressed with the quality...and the price)
