    MAF output V8 verses TD5

I've been struggling to find a nominal MAF output value for a V8, it would appear that a TD5 should be 50 at idle (Nanocom values) and close to 500 at heavy load (WOT up a hill).

I'm getting 18-20 at idle and just over 310 WOT up a hill

Has anyone measured the values on a Disco 2 V8 (4.0)?

    Cheers
    Marc

Hi Marc, I get the 18-20 at idle on my V8.
V8's are like elite athletes, their lungs need very little air at rest, and are not oxygen bandits in full performance
    Cheers, Mario.

I just managed to get 400 exactly going up a hill it dropped back 2 gears, it sounded good :-)

So my MAF values are 20-400

Check mine (V8) today and it's about 30 (without air on) at idle and 575 WOT. Is that right?

What type of air filter and exhaust do you have?
I wouldn't be to concerned with higher values if the car is running ok.
