    D2 Manual, TD5 vs V8 gearbox differances

    Hey guys,

    Just a quick one.

Are there any differences in a manual gearbox between the TD5 and the V8?

    Ratios or the like.

I have recently moved to Perth (Last week) and I am keen to pick up a cheap (dirt cheap) D2 in manual and do a conversion on my TD5 Auto.

    Happy Days.

AFAIK it's only 5th gear ratio that is different. Higher on the V8 box.
