Revs surging around 3000rpm in 3rd (Automatic)
So there seems to be a lot of info about surging around, however I haven't been able to find much about it if its only doing it in one gear...
If i'm going up hill foot flat to the floor and it eventually drops back to 3rd (I think?) it starts surging between 3000-3500 revs.
Could this be a turbo issue or with it only happening in one gear does that indicate something wrong with the auto?
Thanks for your help!

First disconnect the MAF and rerun the hill, if the symptoms disappear the MAF is faulty. If not is the loom replaced any time in the recent past? Oil in it is a no no for revs. The turbo modulator control can be faulty too, cheap to replace. Those are starting points in what can be a long trail of tears
, sometimes!
