    On a D4 just avoid directing a pressure washer at the two plastic covers at each left / right side of engine bay, passenger side has the battery and computers behind it, the drivers side has the oh so vulnerable transfer case control module. And as already mentioned, common sense goes a long way.

    The advantage of using a pressure washer is there is less volume of water (just at a higher pressure).

    And it is STILL sparkling clean. I was impressed. No Kalgoorlie Red under there...
