Bulb ?
Bumper Bar indicator not working. The side light, white does.
I'm guessing I will have to remove the headlight-indicator assembly to follow the connections, and rewire if needed.
Any traps for the unwary? The car does have an ARB bull bar.
RAVE says remove the headlight cover, is this the Philips head or the torx?
Thanks
Julian

When I started on this issue a while a go, I went to change the light globe and the whole unit had water in it. I've changed the light assembly - unit. still no go, but I will check the globes, swap with a known working one.
It would be nice if it was this simple.
Sometimes I am a bit slow on the uptake.
Thanks

Remove the main indicator and check what and how the bar indicator is connected to it. I bet the cheap skates used a "scotch clip" to take the power off the wire. It will not be making contact from the vibration and moisture ingress. Do a proper job and solder and heat shrink it. I cant say on here the things I would like to do to perps who use those things.

Ahha well trained fixer! So you have made the proper connection from the main indicator wire to the bull bar light? Have you fixed the prob? Aside from that earthing is the only other thing.
I can't get the headlamp unit out as the bull bar blocks it. I can see the 'scotch clips' connecting the wiring, but can't get too it. I'll have to take the bar off. That'll be when I have more spare time.
On a bright note!! I used my Nanocom to turn the indicator on and test for voltage at the far connector, 0 volts.
Cheers

I just happen to have a pair of new ARB LED park / indicator lamps to go into my D4 sitting on the table in front of me. Guess what - supplied with scotch clips to join the wires. I won't be using them.Soldered joints the only way to go.
Cheers .........

Yep, guessed as much , Dang things seem to be the standard in the industry. Imagine what havoc a couple of years worth of water wicking up the wiring of a D4 will cause :O
