It's more a case of what the stock LR switches can handle so before you do contemplate anything check out the Traxide Headlight wiring upgrade kit (he is DRIVESAFE a member of AULRO). It deals with the common voltage drop issues many vehicles experience and takes the load off the factory switches and delivers a most noticable improvement in headlight efficiancy with standard lamps.
