As far as I know, no. A kit I looked at a few years ago moved everything down 2 inch. This included the top shock mounts.

My D2 is lifted 2" and so if I fit a 2" drop kit giving a total of 4" lift does that mean I'll need to change the shocks to +4"?

Thanks R2D2. Was that the Les Richmond kit?
Yes the LRA kit. It's been a while so double check with them to be sure.

If you are specifically asking about the Les Richmond Automotive White Tiger kit, then the answer is no. The kit is a spacer based kit. It provides a 2" spacer for all of the suspension components, shock absorbers included. As such you gain no additional suspension travel or length, just a heigh gain. I have fitted the kit to my D2a and had it engineered following.
If you refer to a different brand kit then you would need to ask them directly.
I have +50mm front springs and spacers for the rear airbags.
Yes, I am happy with the kit. I modified the spring spacers to reduce their lift to only 1" (3" for the rear air bags spacers) and retained the other spacers with their 2" spacer (such as for the rear shock absorbers) - the reason was that I only required 3" of lift for my wheel and tyre combination once the guards were cut and flares done. I didn't want to go higher than necessary due to the negative on road handling and more headaches during the engineering process (my vehicle is fully engineer approved and registered as such).
All up the kit does exactly what it is advertised to with no issues encountered in installation or use. I have probably had it installed for around 3 years + now.
Excellent, thanks very much.
