Using LMGTFY Td5 Inside are based in Portugal; TD5 Alive in the UK.
Discorevy might be a bit far away to recommend Sydney garages, but he and others here are right on the money.
For what its worth, I set my D2a up for touring/heavy towing, and my opinion is Nanocom 1st (also makes a great instrument panel, especially for real coolant temp) , then plan for TD5Inside remap to your specs (read other posts for Jose's incredible after sales service - he is in Portugal, but not an issue - and they race TD5s) with EGT gauge, then decide order of priority for your bits so remap can be set to suit/allow for (not in any specific order)
HD torque converter, upgraded trans cooler for towing, DON'T go for significantly bigger tyres unless you reduce gearing to compensate, do EGR and cat removal and exhaust manifold.
EDIT - low coolant alarm below is cheap insurance/must have.
Maybe fall into nice to have/or recommended, but also
oversize intercooler, silicon hoses, Provent 200 filter, low coolant alarm (sold on this site), boost controller? (ask Jose), TD5Inside hybrid? turbo (on my wish list),
I also added the finned TC oversize sump, and regularly service the auto trans hoping for more than a 250K lifespan.
I'm sure I've forgotten some/others will have different views, but enjoy what is an unusual but excellent mode of transport.
Yep , Gavin's right ........too far away . he's also right about egt gauge, although Jose is pretty spot on about keeping egt low enough , you should factor in an egt gauge to keep your eye on internal temps, especially when towing up hills, also if your manual disco is laggy down low a lot of the time its because someone has fitted 32" tyres, all this will be helped by the tune but to eliminate it altogether you need a variable geometry turbo, and/or different gearing
