They only read and reset codes, you can't change features or program with them.
Bit better though than the $15 blue tooth odb II readers that use your mobile phone.

It works well only on OBDII compliant ones, almost useless for Td5, eventually you can read/clear ABS related codes the rest is unreliable
    Discovery Td5 (2000), manual, tuned

my cousin in the uk has a disco 2 and he says reads 90% of the codes ,, even trans ,slabs abs , ace ,, will check it out when it gets here ,, Teriferma give a 90 day return so if it dont do what they say ???
they can have it back ,,,,,love paypal ,,,

had a trans fault the other day would be great to have had it so i didnt need to drive home in 3rd gear with the trailer on ,,,

think it will stay in the car for the code clear as dont want the nanocom stuffed rattling around in the glove box ,,,,

I was saying that to be able to read and remove the fault codes while out in the bush would be a must have , I cant imagine being stuck in a rocky valley and have the trans stuck in 3rd ,,,
Foe $100 its cheap security ,,, who wants to have a $600 nanocom in the glovebox getting beaten up ,,, and i dont have any more room on the window with GPS , Road Crash CAM , Reversing camera ,

also how many use a nanocom for more than reading and clearing codes ,,,
1% load a program to the ECU ?? then most only do it once ...
I beleive a lot of people have there self on how they need every flashy gadget ,,,

As i said i will do a review against a nanocom when it turns up ,
Will have to spend a few weeks editing my swearing on the video as i do keep some sketchie company ,,,,,,

    Nup, no reading of reviews.

I'd just bought the Disco which pretty much straight away developed an ACE fault. Went to the local LR workshop to buy a reader to sort out the suspension problem, they sold me the i930. Meh - it doesn't do ACE.

It does read most other D2 error codes as advertised, pretty basic unit though.

Dash doesn't work with it plugged in and it killed the engine once as well. (all ok after ignition cycle)

The I930 runs common software ,,
The TF is Jag L/R only ,,, did you get the upgrade disks ,,, There is a website for the i930 that you can add slabs and ace ,,, give it a go ,,,, one day it may get you out of trouble

My biggest drama is going into Trans 3rd gear lock when 4x4ing ,,,,
