will rip a few covers off and have a good look tomorrow ,,
thanks keep the tips coming .

    Great!

I'm pleased to read that the car is going well. I had to extend the credit card to fix the fut up that I bought. Now I has a pretty good car.

the gearbox was a start that let go on the way home ,,,even if the seller didnt know about it ,,, ok ,, But the 3 amegos and all the other electrical probs had to have been there for years , so still a dog of a bloke ,,

But i was lucky to find the 2 dry joints in the fuse box ,, they would have sent so may bad signals to the valeo and bcu and ecu ,,,,,
now seems to change gear smoother ,, no fault codes and starts as soon as you turn the key ,,, before there would be a 1 to 2 second wait till the starter would kick in ,,,, like it was thinking ??
anyhow if in 3 months its still good i will take my threat of setting it alight back ,,,,LOL
