URGENT - D2a HSE, right front wheel stuck up in wheel arch

Michael2 asked me to post for him, as he's under the pump.

He has a 2004 D2a HSE with ACE (obviously). The right front wheel appears to be stuck up in the wheel arch, even when jacking the chassis off the ground. The left rear airbag is fully inflated also, likely to try and keep it on the ground. He's tried to reset the ACE system with a Hawkeye without success, driven it around, LR rebooted etc.

Has anyone seen this before, and if so, any fix available please?
    Regards, Will

Have you tried pulling the ace fuse but in saying that with motor off key on solenoid should be in nuetral position.

My only suggestion would be to loosen the two fittings to release oil pressure but be bloody careful of sudden movement of vehicle and of course oil under pressure if that is the cause and before any of this is done and might be a stupid question but is the suspension coil spring ok??

I've undone the connecting rod for the ACE, removed the tyre, jacked the body and axle independently of each other.

It's not an ACE issue, it's as if the spring has broken, but it hasn't. Just suddenly it can't support the weight of the front corner. But couple that with the Rear LH airbag being up, the RH air bad is not leaking, but sitting in standard position.

Have seen the spring perch torn clean off the rhf chassis rail of a d2a before... the whole lot collapsed. Apparently was a manufacturing / welding flaw. Any chance of pics?

More like a seized shock (damper), ie locked solid and won't let the spring come back down?

    Hi Justin,
Have you seen a few of these happen? I recently saw this on a friend's D2a and didn't know what had caused it. I have pics of it as well. Is it a matter of just getting it repaired properly? uploadfromtaptalk1470924657456.jpg

Yes just a proper repair from a bodyworks or someone experienced in chassis repairs. The one i saw has since done 250k and even spent a few years in the kimberley on those roads without a reoccurence.
