Hey guys, fabricating a custom snorkel in a few weeks and I will most likely be nut-setting into the passenger side A pillar. Do i need to take extra caution when drilling into the pillar due to wires?

Yes there is, but you should be fine as they are forward and on the inside of the pillar See following pic.
