got a slow oil leak from the transfer case main shaft oil seal and normally use fully synthetic 75/90 and to top up. Will change the seal as soon as I can however in the mean time would it be permissible to use a cheaper high quality mineral oil instead ... as its just dribbling away
If it is ok to use as a temp measure, thought I would also put in some moreys that I also have kicking around.
