    The tint place I went to said 35% was darkest legal for my vehicle. They had two darker versions which I declined.

    As I said, regardless - if you fit a 35% tint to a D2 it will render it unroadworthy due to the Opticool tint in the factory glass...

    I'd still do it though D2a Factory tintjust be aware it may run you foul of the law..

    Park in the sun and take a look at how the windows start to look dark at different angles!

    Having said that - I *may* D2a Factory tint have a darker (limo) shade on my D4 - and wouldn't change it - makes an enormous difference to comfort levels in the cabin, is metallised for maximum heat rejection and really does reduce eye strain..

    So I eventually got the tint done!

    Solargard HP supreme 35 all round.
    Fronts could be darker but it will suffice.
    I'd love to get rid of the green colour. im assuming the metalised film may be reflecting some of the green off the glass. maybe 3m colourstable would have been a better choice.
