    That's strange?

Today was stinking hot here is SA, went up to a property near Loxton and as far as I am aware there were no lights on on the dash.

When I started up to come home I had 'Brake' and the 'Three Amigos'

Yesterday I adjusted the hand brake at the drum, I did not touch the lever or cable adjustment inside.

As I had Nanocom hooked up I thought I would look for faults, 'intermittent fault RHF sender'. Clear fault and the DHC light only went out.

When I got to our gate I turned the car off, on restart I was left with only the ABS light on?

Start off and the 'TC' light comes back on?

It just seems strange that they are acting independently and I had not been aware of that happening before.

    What will be will be!

I get the 3 amigos occasionally and upon shutting the car down and turning the key, only the ABS light stays on, but shuts off after I drive for 20-30m. I think I need to do option B but haven't had the time.

u may have a sensor issue as well, only way is to read the faults..
    Option B
i kepy saying the same thing, putting it off, Finally did it on the weekend.
it really doesn't take that long, very easy to do, just follow the steps in the "good oil" on this forum

If you have nanocom read stationary inputs of the sensors and if they are all very close(between 2 - 2.4V) then most probably you'll need a new RHF hub

    bRAKE lIGHT?

Doesn't it annoy you when you leave the CAPS LOCK on!!

I cleared the fault from memory, that did not cure the problem!

It did clear one light only, when I stopped and started the engine 'TC' was out as well only to come back on when the car moved. Checked SLABS faults again, none recorded?

No one has commented on the BRAKE LIGHT being on?

Nice cool day today and I have no lights on?

I still think it is strange!!!

The brake light should be part of the 3(4) amigos all the time but in reality it comes on usually only when the SLABS gets a ''clean'' open or short circuit input... the strange thing is that it's not on all the time with the amigos not that it comes on randomly... when a sensor fault code was stored the ABS light stays on alone untill the vehicle exceeds 10km/h, the only really strange and unexplainable thing is the TC light on without TC activity ...that's a LR oddity which was seen before in other cases too

btw... clearing a stored fault code would not cure anything, fixing the fault would

the built in protocol which doesnt work as it should all the time is attached

    But

Surely an intermittent fault, not now present, once cleared should act like no fault until it fails again?

I will clean all the connections up and keep my fingers crossed.

The longer I can put off having to repair something else unnecessarily the better I will feel.

    Regards

Amazing! Its stinking hot up here in Central Queensland and yesterday the four amigos appeared and won't go away. The three amigos have been showing up occasionally but like everyone else go away on shut down restart.
