    Do you still have A/C?
    Pickles.
    still got a/c

went for a generic compressor, ie, not GM, no LR.

may have to revisit that and up size.
on a 45 degree day the air coming out of the vents was 14 degrees.

    done about 1000km.

fuel economy with spirited town driving comes in at 16lph.
country driving is about 12lph, limited by gear ratio

things i can do to get better economy,
    - dont drive so fast
    - reduce tyre size
    - reduce tyre width

gearing. as im still using the LR 5speed R380 one of the inefficiency is the gearing, no 6th gear being the main disadvantage.

What sort of rpm at 100 k is it doing ?

Dont forget With the bummerdore running the same donk even with a 6th gear they are a lot lighter and dont have the aerodynamics of a block of flats
So id say your economy is pretty spot on , I dont think you would get a great deal better out of it.

the ute is a lot lighter and aerodynamic. ive got that fuel economy down to 8lph
but yes, im quite happy with the fuel results on the disco

i'll have to get my passenger to record the rpm n speeds as i keep forgetting.

I typically get under 16l per 100k in my D2 4.6 manual and better than 12l on highway run...

    Cheers
