    Slunnie made a good point in an older thread, one leant from experience that the problem with the cooler mounted as low as it is (apart from the crap fittings) is that it will clog with mud and you can cook your auto in muddy conditions.

    I was looking at using a more efficient core in the stock spot, a la the Alisport one, it's neat and tidy. But it might pay to just add AN barbs on the stock cooler and install a supplementary core behind the grille.

    Hi All. As planned i did end up removing the factory transmission oil cooler and replacing it with a b&m 70266. Used Proflow connectors to join the hoses from the cooler to the lines running to the auto. Have done over 5k so far no issues. Will post photos when i get home
