    Stripped Sump Pug. Gasket from MLR

    As I have partially stripped the sump plug. And I'm sure the plug is only holding because I forgot the washer! I have been looking at sump gasket prices.
    The internet has genuine in the $80.00 range.
    MLR for $48.00
    Not the price difference I expected.

    What are you saying?
    $48 is that Genuine? or some aftermarket?
    You can get TD5 Sump gaskets from $25 upwards.

    The $48.00 is a genuine TD5 sump gasket from MLR, Melbourne Land Rover.

    I checked with Land Rover, Yep $48.85 is the full retail price now, D2s are getting long in the tooth now, some times Land Rover clears parts that sit on the shelf, $80 is outrageous. even with associated fees charges to put them up for sale online.
