    Hi David,
Are you talking about a manual gearbox, the transfer box, or an automatic transmission here?

    Cheers, Andrew

    I have...

theres a reason I put the cut off line for working on landrovers at about 2007.. well, mostly....

in truth, like the TD5, its just a case of having exactly the right tools and knowing how to get your sockets extended into a place that you can pivot a ratchet.

They do fully assemble the engines, then stick them in the car. It's called the 'marriage'

Before I had a Land Rover I did not have any torque wrenches. Now I have three.

Cool video. What I meant was that they fully assemble & install and later at service time work out all the parts that u can't get to & shrug their shoulders and say 'sorry that engineer was on long service leave while we were designing ur car'!

Like the oil filter on my TD5. Really?? They couldn't give u an extra couple of inches??

(I know it's a lot about having the right tool for the job)
