    Emergency Key Access Code

My 95 RRC is effectively a 1999 D2 transplant for most major electrical purposes, but with a replacement programmable ECU by Bruce Davis per PO.

What I don't have is the Emergency Key Access Code.

Is is accessible/available via Nanocom Evo, and if so can I please be pointed in the right direction?

If not - any advice as to how I can trace it? An email call to BD did not provide any joy/response, which was a bit disappointing.

    Cheers Gavin

You can get it from a dealer if you give them the VIN of the donor ECU's car (if that makes sense).

I needed mine a few months back so called a dealer and they provided it for me. I can't remember who it was but they were recommended on AULRO somewhere.

Some dealers might be more helpful than others.

(Actually, I think I misunderstood your original post but I'll leave my reply in case it helps...)

    Hi Gavin

You can read it with a nanocom and reset it. The following thread, has a brief how to by Fluids. Not sure if refers to the early nanocom, but the current Evo model will still do it.

    Finding the EKA with Nanocom

If you need a hand yell out. It about time we caught up for an ale.
