    That certainly isn't the knock sensor as used on the early P38A but is on the later cars. I'd have thought there would be one each side of the side of the block under the exgaust manifolds.

    After consulting my personal Mechanic,, I'm going to dump a bottle of octane boost in it when I fill up to go away,,
    anyone else heard rumors about lack of retardation on HC 4.6's?

    why not just fill up with premium fuel it has a higher octane ?

    it has always run on pulp Mario,, mostly Shell,
    maybe I'll try a different brand, but they should be all the same, yes?

    Pedro I occasionally get a ping or 3 under adverse conditions before the sensors and ECU sort it out. Not common by any means. The 4.0 had it occasionally to and I have only ever run Shell 98. Cheers

    I now only use Caltex 95.

    maybe i should try some E85
