New vac pump
Hi,
Driving down the hume last night after a short hunt out bush, I decided to grab a coffee at Maccas drive through.....went to hit the brakes at the pay window and just sailed straight past the chick....pedal was rock hard and luckily no one in front of me.
Backed her up, and she gave me a weird look" I said dont worry it happens all the time"
Pulled up shortly after to have a look, and noticed oil from a hole to elbow on the ground, turns out the vac pump died and pushed it back through the tube.
Called RACV who had no idea,in the end I put it on a truck so I could get home.
Anyone had this happen before? What does everyone recommend to replace with? Is it worth while to install an oil alarm/
cheers
Bronson

I've been toying with the idea of an electric vac pump, or possibly hydra boost or similar.
No doubt ridiculously expensive.
Only to go back to a normal alternator,I don't have any issues yet.
