Thread: Allisport D2A w/ Aircon and Auto cooler fit and pictures

I fitted the Allisport intercooler at the weekend and thought I'd share a few pictures as there isn't much info on how it compares with the D2A intercooler.
Fitting was straightforward and followed standard intercooler removal/refit process (which basically seems to involving taking everything in the world off to the left and right of the radiator!), the only slight difference is I needed to bend the rad panel/valance up slightly to allow the new cooler to fit.
I haven't had much chance to check out the difference, the front double cardan started squawking the next day, so the car didn't move for a few days and is rear wheel drive only now. I might also get a false feeling, I found a page of WSM (on injector seal replacement) neatly sandwiched between intercooler and radiator. Must have been blocking the airflow for 2 years...

Looks beautiful, any chance you have pre and post install performance data to indicate effectiveness?

Looking to eventually drop the coin on one of these to facilitate some upgrades but everything is put on hold until the coin stack is big enough.
