So is this an adaptor to fit a ZF8HP Auto transmission to a td5? If so that would be absolutely awesome. D2 TD5 with 6HP26 from D3,D4 or RRSD2 TD5 with 6HP26 from D3,D4 or RRS Has anyone actually ever completed it?

This would have to be the ultimate upgrade, the boxes are relatively cheap - https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fro...7+8hp&_sacat=0 - and if they do make the kits you are looking at under $5K for the hardware, then of course the fitting and compudrive to run it (????).

Already have the problem of M&S overload with the boost not even turned up to anywhere near max (26 psi at moment) and have to temper the right foot when over taking as Mario and Stan start flashing me with foot to the floor overtaking and having to then stop and restart falling back behind the car just overtaken making it a useless exercise, have learnt now.

Ratio Calculator LOW RATIO - 68.13

    Ratio Calculator with 8HF and 437 diffs 32 tyres.pdf

Having got 4.37 diffs and 32" tyres, used the Ashcroft calculator (had to only use 6 gears so took out the middle ones) to see what the hell the ratios would be against the stock. For my D2 the top gear at 100kph at 2,305 rpms, perfect, and the low ratio of 68.13 or at 10 kph 4,449 rpms!!!!!!!!!!!

    Found a challenge

Not that I’ve ever heard of. I think this is the start and these haven’t been manufactured yet. Electronics will no doubt be the tricky bit.

Been looking at the Website of the controller people and although there is some work to be done, soldering etc. the other aspect is getting the information for torque estimation which the current ECU does and is available but how is this input into the TC at the moment? The rest of the set up is quite intuitive as to the tables and selecting the change points up and down.
