Question Automatic transmission and transfer case wiring connectors - how to undo?

Anyone have a picture of the wiring plug connections on the automatic transmission and transfer box? I'm trying to undo them in order to remove the wiring loom to check for chaffe/rub damage but I'm working blind by the feel. I don't want to damage them. I have removed the transmission and TC years ago but I think I lowered the back of it first to give more access and visibility for disconnecting the connections.

The XYZ switch connection is fine to undo.
Then there is a roundish connection on the transmission with what feels like a ring around it?
The transfer box connections I'm unsure about.

Any pictures, tips, assistance etc. are much appreciated.

Turned out that I've asked this before - TD5 Automatic Transmission - removing electrical connections and top oil line

    For the XYZ switch:

    For the transmissions connector:

    Also of note:

It is a revised version of the auto removal procedure in RAVE. It should answer every question you've asked in this thread so far

The thread doesn't discuss the transfer cases electrical connections:

First the connectors need to be removed off the bracket on the top of the TC. Feel around, find the tab, push it and it should release.
The first one, grey connector with green wire. Was relatively easy to undo.
The other two the tabs need to be pulled up, not pushed down (which is the norm) and then they'll seperate.

    The complete loom looks like:

The 'P' bracket is secured in place by a 17mm nut. I used a 17mm deep socket 1/2" with extension to loosen it and then it was wound out just by fingers.

What I couldn't figure out is how to undo the cable tie where the loom is secured to the bracket on top of the TC. You need to push the two tabs in underneath to release it and allow you to pull it out of the bracket, but given that you've got to wiggle your hand up over the handbrake assembly etc I found this impossible. After an hour I cracked it and cut the cable tie - not sure what I'll do for securing it when I refit but I'll make a plan - maybe just a normal cable tie? Even now with the loom out I still cannot get the remains of the old securing cable tie free from the bracket...

Pictures for the endoscope of the cable tie:

    This is good info.

I remember these driving me to despair the first time I had the boxes out. Absolutely infuriating.

The second time I was pulling the boxes (from a wreck) I cut the bastards at the wires. Automatic transmission and transfer case wiring connectors - how to undo?
