    Many thanks

My master plan for a D4!! I've looked at manual D3's but they do not have the bells and whistles, so I might as well go for the D4.

I must have changed gear several million times, on anything from a three on the tree up to roadrangers, via crash boxes in GM powered coaches, back to front MANs, and countless others that I've forgotten. Nothing "girly" about wanting to relax in my own car when I can.

It doesn't bother me at all if someone wants to remove a perfectly good gearbox to indulge their masochistic desire to have to continuously change gears in the bush or in the sand.
Personally I much rather concentrate on the view and enjoy the drive with the knowledge that I will always be in the right gear without even having to think about it.

The girly part is all the sooky lala
So you drive a manual truck or bus with up to 18 gears + but cant handle a manual car with 5 gears
And im sure as hell you would not be changing gears in a car as much as you are in a truck .
Mate what do think i do for a job apart from the stirring and practising useless people skills

I think a little more practise is in order, Chris

Who says I can't handle it? I am happy in the D1 with it's R380, and I'm happy in the D2 ( or, should I say was happy) with it's auto. I like both, and am not biased like some people I could mention.

The 4.6 certainly doesn't need it...

Im not biased im just defending my right of freedom of speech and my believes and if you like a auto so be it but when they continually cost a you a small fortune in repairs or rebuilds and blown cooler lines and time off the road it sort of defeats the purpose of your argument ,
I still talk to you auto drivers and dont think any different of you lot and i also enjoy the fishing
Nah the practise thing will never work

Whats involved in fitting the manual pedal box to the D2? Does the dash have to be removed to do it?
