or a roof that doesent leak at the top of the a pillar
Temp gauge that doesn't sit at the one spot fron 75-115!
CDL on all models...
manual box in mine would be nice...
bit more grunt...
no EGR and a catch can...
headlights that work...
apart from that I'm pretty happy.
temp gauge is being fixed with a VDO, CDL is going in shortly, got a chipped ecu to fit soon, EGR gone, catch can in the works, thinking very seriously of ultra flex led conversion to fix the lights.
The Headlight difference from D2 to D2a is enough,,
I would rather have kept the protruding buttons on the 4 switch D1 Elec window panel,,

As Muppet said, a 4HP24 plus HD flex plate at the least, or if it was economically feasible, a decent DCT or a 6 speed auto.
I love my manual's, so a nice shifting 6 speed would be a treat. IMO that precludes the Getrag MT82 [bigwhistle]
Ok, ok, seeing we're talking about fifteen year old cars, just a 4HP24 internalled 4HP22 plus a decent drive plate and a nice TC to suit, along with a properly sized heat exchanger that is thermostatically controlled along with hoses that don't let go.
A centre diff lock in the models that missed out.
An ATB as the centre diff.
Flashable SLABS ECU so the wheel speed input can be changed to suit larger diameter tyres for the TC/HDC !
Hydraulic anti-roll bar disconnects. (this is something I want to pursue when I have time)
Decent quality plastics !
A Borg Warner compound turbo setup similar to the 3 litre Iveco engine. (or the new Ingenium range)
They are generally a better way to go than a single VNT.I need a bit more bottom end/mid range torque, and that should sort it.Lockable diffs, or even better, lockable ATB's !A greasable DC coupling, or just a Tom Wood shaft straight up.I'm being picky, but maybe a slightly faster steering ratio, although that may make the car twitchy and tiring on a trip with the short wheel base.
