My 2002 has one on the LH wheel arch just behind the rear seat, below the seat belt hole.
IMHO I think the cigar lighter type sockets are poor for running a fridge and I have added a Merit plug with good sized cable to mine.

I've recently wired some sockets into an old Land Cruiser and discovered that the cigarette lighter sized power outlets now available have internal notches to retain the plug. Most people don't want to rewire Merit plugs to everything they own so I think they are a viable alternative. Example:

12V~24V Double Cigarette Lighter Socket Plug Adapter for Motorcycle Car Boat Van

The blue crimp terminals supplied with the sockets were weak-as garbage and were promptly binned. My local auto electrician had the same things but at double the price.

Be aware that the rear cargo outlet is live with ACC and off when they key is off, so you need to do some rewiring anyway most likely.

Yes but the D2 ones are hopeless. I have just "modified" my front socket as the aftermarket multi plug just keeps falling out under the spring pressure on the centre contact as did previous double plugs. I should have changed to a merit plug while I had it apart. Couldn't be stuffed now as the whole console has to come out, although when I had it out I added a USB double socket to the rear of the console.
I stuck some electrical tape around the plug and also stuffed some double sided tape in.

just watch out for some of those cheap ebay 12v sockets.

I mounted a twin USB one in the back of the console for the kids to plug their ipads into. My daughter and I were on a camping trip and we got about 6hrs into it and I could smell something burning.

the socket had just melted and was close to catching fire. She had a fully charged Ipad running off it. She was just watching movies. (admittedly 3 back to back chipmunk movies)

but scared the crap out of me at the time. I had a dedicated cable back to a separate fuse. that was all that was running off it.

    I've gone Nava now.
