Life hack to prevent Speeding Fines and demerit points

I saw this on Facebook, so it has to be true, right? In any case even though this is from the USA it does work in Australia.
To prevent speeding fines and demerit point, just stay below the posted speed limit. Easy

    Americans speed! Nooooo!

I was in Texas this year, we hired a car and started driving on the 4 lane highway between Dallas and Waco I was doing 60mph in the slow lane [65 limit], well everything including the linehaul trucks was doing 80 mph, it was bit of a shock as i was struggling with driving on the other side for the first time also.
I said to the wife "if a Series Landrover goes passed us I'm going to put my foot down"
The State Troopers were fairly active but that didn't slow anyone, they even pulled over a Greyhound bus which is something you would not see here.
The wife of the family we stayed in Dallas with was driving us through her suburb, we were doing about 54mph in a 45 limit and she says " i should slow down here i've been booked for speeding 3 times here" and this was with a can of beer between her legs too.
    Cheers
