Hi all, I have a couple of questions for you folks in the know. First , I have a hood lining from a doner car that im going to redobut all the pins holding the pockets to the roof liner broke. Any way of reusing the pockets?
Second, the doner car is an 11/1999 build

Ripper thanks mate. Will get under and see if i can operate the nipple in the TC. Cheers
VIN's .... YA..... all had the CDL internals in the transfer box from factory, the linkage was optional... as long as you see the spigot the internals are there, no internals = no spigot
Discovery Td5 (2000), manual, tuned

Before I had a Land Rover I did not have any torque wrenches. Now I have three.
LROCV #1410
When doing my hood lining I had a few broken in half studs on the nets, I cut some 3ply discs about 20mm then used the smallest screws I had ( 4g I think) which screw into the hole in the broken stud.
Drill the holes in the ply discs to suit the screws and trim the screws to length required,I even drilled deeper holes in a couple of dodgy studs, thread the screws in gently there is not much meat to play with. Worked for me.
Hey Bohica,
The OP was talking about the donor car having the transfer case with the CDL internals, I assume the other (his car) doesn't so hence the need to swap it out
As for the CDL lever, good luck finding one!! and then hopefully you don't have to sell a kidney for it!!
Cheers Lemo
