Disco 2 Electric Windows Problem

Hi Guys
first time poster here
have owned my disco 2 for about a month now and have fixed a few small problems here and there with not too many problems

today my drivers side window just failed to work at all, can hear clicking from behind the glove box which i am guessing from reading the forum is the BCU?
anyway only a few minutes after finding the drivers window not working the rear passenger window that i put down will not come back up.
the other windows work fine and had a bit of a fiddle around with the plugs behind the control at the center console which all seem ok.

so i swapped the plug from the other rear window and was able to get the stuck window back up

any ideas on what the problem could be that i can send the rear passenger window down but cannot raise it back up but when i swap the plugs it works fine
driver window dont get anything at all when swapping or fiddling with plugs just the clicking sound behind the glove box

any help would be appreciated before i pull everything out and mess it all out

Sounds like the motor for the front not 100% on the rear?
Think I've read on here there could be a circuit board problem?? But cant remember?
I'll have a look and see if I can find it.

for the one which works by swapping the switch you need another switch (YUF000200LNF) for the other make sure the wiring is not chaffed where it passes from the frame into the door

If you remove the front door trim and locate the window plug it has 2 pins run power to one and earth to the other if the motor doesn't operate it's u/s if it moves it's a wiring issue and by reversing your wires you can make it go the opposite direction

What power would I use to test the motor, 12v battery be ok?

Any chance you've got problems with the car leaking when it rains? Water coming in to the cabin and footwell?

Mine was doing that for some time before I started having door locking problems. I determined that the fuse & relay panel had corrosion issues caused by water running through it.

I suspect it's the roof gutters, where they meet the windscreen. I've bogged them up with a fair bit of RV Silicone, but haven't had the car outside since then (it's currently sans head gasket). I believe this is a known issue. Some of hte rubber in there hardens and starts to break apart.

Yeh that what i thought after checking the drain holes werent blocked. Might have to pull out the sikaflex
