Sad to hear that others have been having trouble with TD5Inside's services. My experience with Jose has been the complete opposite! I bought my D2a TD5 with a TD5Inside remap already in place. Despite not being the actual customer, Jose adjusted the tune down for me from the aggressive settings that were in place. Later when I bought my VGT he adjusted it again and then after some data logging he tweaked it further. He's never received a cent from me, but has happily done all this based on the previous owner purchasing the tune for the vehicle. I hope things settle and others get to experience the great customer service that I had.

Got it, fitted it, road tested it, HAPPY CAMPER now

Well this morning I received my reply from Jose, downloaded the TUN file wrote it into the ECU and I'm a happy little duck.

I did not want anything wild, (I'm a mild child, CHOKE, CHOKE), there is a stretch of freeway I tested everything I have done on and always lost 10 KPH from 110 down to 100.

Now I can feel much more pick up when driving and the little cutting is climbed at 110 on cruise control with seemingly no effort.

Next thing to do is evaluate the fuel usage and see what has happened to that, I don't believe I will change my driving style just because I now have more power on tap.

Now all I have to get over is the fluctuating boost pressure 16 - 14 - 16 - 14 Argh.

    Cheers all.

    Mike

Oh, and I have been back to Jose to thank him.

    Well done Jose's

Since you did my remap the truck has been everywhere. Averaging 13-14 liter per 100 K's pulling a caravan so I am very happy. Hope you can sort out your email problem and try to stream line your order process. As I had a small business fixing computers for 18 years before retirement I know where your coming from as the more you get known the more you get swamped with is what happened to me. Cheers and thanks again

    Another Happy Customer

I received my updated TUN file over the weekend which has some additional tweaks as I had the HD torque converter fitted and Jose said he could make some changes, early days (loaded last night) but sure it is going differently, slightly 'torquier' at lower revs, and quicker too, I wish I knew exactly what I am looking out for, but happy it has arrived and all works.

    10min response time

I had a response from TD5 Inside via email in exactly 10 mins. That is pretty good in my book.

I have done some research on Storm Tuning and sent a email and got some interesting info in the reply tonight
They are not as cheap as some but very open and seem to be reliable enough and have a good reputation.
Funny thing is all these good tuner`s are happy to tweak your tune if you are not happy at no extra cost
So it is a rock and a hard place as i know where my heart is but im thinking with my head
