Not sure i've read a post on an ACE pressure valve,,
hopefully this isnt the start of something,,
Got access to nanocom John?
I've got a Pressure Valve Fault showing up. I know that I need to do the ACE filter as I'm not sure if the previous owner ever did it, or if it's ever been replaced in its life.
How can I test the Pressure Valve to make sure it needs replacing before I buy a new one?

If the fault code was retrieved with nanocom it might not be correct, you can unplug the pressure valve solenoid(the one on the side, not the transducer) and measure it's resistance, it should be 5.6 Ohm, remove the ACE relay(R14), put a bridge across the perpendicular cavities in the fusebox(30-87) start the engine and read live data, post the results here and i'll tell you if something is wrong

I don't have a Nanocom the only 1 that I know of is 30 mins away, which is fine, just not a quick duck out & see!
I'll start by checking ohms, then find time to visit the nice forumite with the Nanocom.

Make sure that the forumite has updated to at least firmware v1.32.
That version claimed to have fixed problems with the Nanocom ACE module.
Apparently the ACE module is still reporting some incorrect codes but it's a vast improvement over reporting the same code regardless of the fault as was happening prior to v1.32.
