    Perhaps I'm biased, but for the Disco II there are so many great looking rim choices from factory that bothering with a VW part would be a waste of time.

    They are tried and bush tested.

    And found to be great!

    Go LR rims.

    Hard to kill D2 alloys. I have run mine in very hard conditions and never damaged one. Great bead lock too...very hard to actually remove tyres in a machine.

    I actually paid to change my steelies to alloys when I purchased the truck.
