Battery sitting at 12.4v, down a touch but surely not enough to cause a fault would it? Will check charging voltage tonight after work.

This happened to me when I was working on a broken Inertia fuel cut off switch. I managed to short the connection and blew a fuse in the main fuse box in the engine bay. Maybe the BCU fuse? Was a few years ago but not sure.

Replace fuse and away it went.

Ahhhh well in true Landrover fashion, my D2 is purring like a kitten and no flashing B on the dash!😁😁🤔🤔. I am going to throw in a new battery and check the fuse box and see what happens. Will also reinstall the new head unit. Fingers crossed..

A quick update on my elproblemo, there is no problem. Seems that all the rain we had in vic last weekend, and the fact my disco was parked on an angle meant the drain hole drivers side scuttle panel couldn't cope. New head unit in , and no funny lwtters flashing at me. So we have peace on the universe for now..... Thanks to all for their suggestions. Cheers Brett

Did your steering radio controls still work after putting in the aftermarket radio?
