    Air temp sensor

Just wondering what sensor the climate control display uses for outside air temp? The one on the airbox?

Not the ambient temp and pressure sensor on the airbox - that's strictly for engine management. IIRC there's a sensor in the climate control inlet tract.

NO, the intake air temp is given by the MAP/IAT sensor in the intake manifold, the airbox sensor gives AAT(ambient air temperature) for the engine management but only on the Eu3 modells with the 4 wire sensor, on the Eu2 engines there is only the AAP(ambient air pressure) reading, no ambient temp at all... this is not mentioned in RAVE

Thanks. So I’m guessing that this fault code means check the AAP sensor at the air box on my eu2?
