    D1 & D2 bonnet the same ???

    Gday All,

Anyone know if the bonnet is the same on each model. ?? I know the D2 is longer but wondered if the front end was the same.

    Cheers Ean

Before I had a Land Rover I did not have any torque wrenches. Now I have three.

I think that the rear doors are the same, don’t quote me on it.

Nope. Handles and hinge mountings are different. It did my head in when I parked my two side by side. Not even the tailgate is the same, although I can't say one wouldn't fit the other, but I think the hinges will even foil that one.

Edit: Locks are different as well.

By rear door, ?i meant boot or tail gate door. I think the outer skin is the same.

If the question is will a D2 bonnet fit a D1, or vice versa, the answer is still no. The RSP is different, so the locks and latches are as well. Don't know about the hinges, but I suspect that they are different too.
