I was clearing out my phone today and found an old photo of my fuel line break in 2015 at Kununurra.
There are a few things to note.
1 The position of the wear through which was near the chassis rail just as it turns.

2 The date on the manifold which is after the production date of the car so this was a manifold installed as part of the replacement program.

3 the wear was caused by a wiring loom which I assume to be for rear airbag sensor ( mine has springs) which was left lying on the pipe.

4 So my conclusion is that the break was caused by a "mechanic" at the dealership not ensuring the loom was held away from the hose when the program was done .GRRRRR.
