Hi guys I’ve searches and only found one from September but wondering if anyone knows of a group buy
cheers pat
I did the same recently and found the same one. I’m keen to get one so perhaps another group buy is needed?
If u go to the group buy & post that ur interested in starting another group buy the guy from the nanocom shop should pipe up. Then it’s a matter of 10 people committing to buying. That shouldn’t b too hard.

From looking at the existing thread it just tacks on the end of it.
Put up interest on the end of it and kick another one off.
Nanocom Group Buy
Eight more needed.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.
I am interested just a few questions before i commit to it. Do we say we want to buy one then buy it as normal off the bbs site or do we give the money to someone and they order all the nanocoms (sorry first group buy ever).

Group buys come in all different shapes and sizes
In this case, once there are enough buyers, BBS will setup a discount code and timeframe it is valid for. You buy from them direct - shipping will be extra.
In the meantime just add your name to the list.
There is also a small procedure to identify yourself to them when ordering (a PM through AULRO, or something like that, to confirm you are a memeber here) Flip back a few pages and have a read of where the last group buy reached the ordering stage and the details will be there.
It's simple. You want a group buy for nanocom, add your name to one running. If one isn't currently running, start one. Colin (BBSGuy) offers group buys to anyone who can come up with the numbers. On AULRO this usually won't take long. Once it has the numbers, you go through a simple PM process with Colin, and then buy your device individually using the one off promo code he gives you. Then, you anxiously watch your letterbox. Final step is to go to the BBS website, log in with the member details you receive, and download the codes which will activate your new nanocom to the vehicle and engine types you have selected.
Then, learn how to use it.. Quite a few vids to help you with that, and there are some very switched on users here. I am looking forward to getting my car back so I can try mine properly. I have only used it on other AULROian's cars so far.

Nanocom, D2 TD5 only.
I’ve started a list in the group buy thread. If your interested in buying go there & cut & paste the last persons list and add your name to it. When we get 10 people, Colin should send out a discount code.

Just my personal experience: bought the Nanocom shortly after buying the D2 TD5 in response to urgent recommendations that I would find it not only useful but invaluable. The Admiral was not happy, even less happy when postage from Cyprus was $46 (from memory - I stand to be corrected - it was expensive).
Since then it has been in the box apart from when I have hitched it up to explore it and have a play and the one time I thought it might be useful was to code in a new key. That turned into a real farce: I got as far the "sync" but the car would not recognise the key, so no good. Can't tell you how many times I tried, followed the YouTube vids, advice from this forum. Eventually I sent the key back to LR to have it checked - they were able to programme it no probs. Back to my car - same old problemo. My point is this: an expensive item that I have had no use for. I'm tempted ( at the Admiral's urging) to sell it on, but I believe that Murphy would pounce and I would regret it. I live in the bush 100s of K's from any LR service so I need to be able to keep my car running.
Just wondering.......... what is a reasonable second hand asking price for my Nanocom?
Thanks,
Pete
