    SRS light, lights up.

From looking in this forum, it's likely to be the plug under the seat. The one with the big yellow wire on it.
How in hades do you undo the plug to spray it with contact cleaner? I can only get one hand in under the seat!

    Thanks

Before I had a Land Rover I did not have any torque wrenches. Now I have three.

It can be many things better read the fault code if you have the chance... if no tester available there is another yellow plug in the compartment under the steering wheel and one behind the glovebox which are for the air bags, check those too... rotary coupler is another common probem

Ok, I'll put the nanocom on it and see what it has.
As for contact cleaner is WD40 ok? If not what type? I had a look in Jaycar and saw several different cans of differing electrical cleaners

Julian this is a safety device DONT USE WD40 on it. contact clearner might dissolve plastic. I would just unplug and replug it a couple of times.

    I like my Nanocom

    It tells me
    Code 032
The right hand pretensioner measures open circuit.
    (Intermittent)

Is this the (in)famous yellow plug?

    Thanks

Didn't some one hit you in the front recently? did this start to happen around that time? maybe its related, Was it you that changed the fronts seats? check all your SRS plugs and crash sensors.

Yes the car did get hit in the front. This issue has been here for maybe a week. About 2 weeks after the bang. Something more the panel beaters to look at. No seat changes.

For electrical applications the best product ever is: NANOPROTECH Super Insulation - The Ultimate Electrical Protection ... i'm using it since i've discovered it on all ECUs , fuseboxes and exposed connectors on all my vehicles and i can tell that even if it looks a bit expensive it worths it's weight in gold

Mine is just floating under the seat. It has fallen off the clip. Maybe that's why it loses contact?
