Okay fine....
Delio's made-in-China rotors are of superior qualify. They are like the Ferarris, compared to British made "Donkey" rotors
I actually feel pretty good about it.
But on the other hand, RDA and most of DBA rotors are made in China...So
What is delio's magic touch?
Can you tell Todd, he probably should ask the Chinese Manufacturer do the final finishing too. Would be much cheaper and the best part is nobody will know
Cheers
For the record, wasn't me..
Like I said before, I have nothing against delio except I am not stupid.
If a big Aussie company sells chines stuffs (quite common actually), they may be able to get a good deal with certtain Chinese manufacturer. And even have their own standards requirements (albeit unkily. I will explain why
frankly speaking for the volume sold in Australia.....Why do you think a big Chinese manufacturer would bother?
Say you sell 1,000,000 products per month to a major client from middle East Africa US EU etc... An Aussie company come along and ask for an order of 1000 per year. That's 10 per month. What would you do?
"Yeah order is really small but money is money but I won't bother too much." That's the response I got when I try to import some outdoor stuffs to sell here (my company is also Australian own hehe)
I actually tracked down and talked to the Chinese supplier for anaconda. And also I talked to the guy supply 4wdsupacenter hehehe. The anaconda supplier told me any order from Australia is small so don't bother asking for any modifications/quality control.
Their main target market is the US of A.
Interesting eh?
You might not be stupid but you are way off on your supposed idea in this area sorry to say .
But in saying this you are welcome to your theory on how the world of manufacturing works.
I know the facts and your`s are not the fact`s in this case [wink11]
If anyone wants more info i suggest you contact Delios Brakes .
Delios | Brake rotors, performance braking, 4WD brakes
Delios can tell you anything they want, doesn't mean you have to believe them. They are a business for making money and by saying we have the best product, it is just a way to suck people into buying their product over other Chinese made products. The fact is they are probably all made in the same factory by the same people just like every other Chinese made thing, motorbikes, outboard motors, electronics, ect ect.
So unfortunately contacting the owner will not achieve much as i said he wants to make money and will tell you any dribble to milk you clean of your money.
I've known a few people in businesses importing stuff from China (and India, Pakistan, etc) over the years. The ones that aren't simply buying on price, (like a lot of outdoor/camping suppliers, etc), travel to these places, meet with the suppliers, and check out the products, prior to purchasing any great quantities. It's called common sense!
There is also the fact that most of the Chinese suppliers will have a range of products, from the cheap (looks just like an upmarket euro product, but it's made from recycled chocolate wrappers) to top quality, ISO standard products that are as good as anything you can find, anywhere in the world. The choice is yours - pay peanuts, get monkey poop! Pay a decent price, you get a decent product.
Most buying agents (here and overseas) are interested in a quick sale. Most manufacturers are interested in repeat sales, particularly if you are willing to pay a fair price for quality stuff, regardless of whether you're buying 1000 per year, or 1 million.
I looked into getting stuff made overseas, the problem is if you import stuff you then are deemed the manufacturer under Australian Law, you then were the liable of any death or damage your product causes, insurance was the biggest factor. so not worth my while and hassle.
Lol you make me laugh. They are a business to make money, you don't start a business to do anything else other then make money, it is a bit hard to feed your family on great customer service or a good quality product. If they were so concerned about their product why not manufacture it in Australia? The reason is it would be too dear and it would affect their sales, which affects income and business shuts down.
I said it before to the last not a idiot check your facts as you are way off the mark.
This is really crapping me off with you 5 minute experts that think you know and you bloody well dont , You are all guessing and or know of someone and your just plain assuming crap.
If you dont have anything positive to add bugger off :bat:
