So I checked and the slabs ecu was not in transport mode,I changed some settings in the slabs unit and it behaved itself for several days, then we went camping, it died as soon as we got there, two error lights came up in dash but no errors in ecu,I changed the slabs ecu when I got home with an old one I had updated, problem fixed, so it was indeed the ecu,I even reinstalled the original after just to make sure and all the problems came back again, hopefully this may help others that have sls problems...

Well maybe not entirely, it's still dropping the air from time to time, I'm wondering if it's an sls height sensor problem, will check later....

But the slabs ecu can be swapped over too a newer version,ie from a d2a, apparently more fault tolerant (I think this is correct) and newer software to allow correct usage of traction control with centre diff locked, also alleged that the abs was improved although I can't tell any difference....
