    Saggy d2a

    Hi all,
I have a d2a that I have owned for several months, we recently put it back on sls bags which have worked flawlessly until the last few weeks, the car will stay up all night, even all week, then if you open a door, any door, the dump solenoid clicks in and drops the car onto the bump stops, if you then start it, the sls warning light is on and the compressor won't run until you restart and the light goes out, no faults on the nanocom and only seems to happen when had been parked overnight......

    Any ideas?
    Cheers James

    I'm thinking dodgy slabs ecu....

I had a similar problem with the SLS on my D2a.
I took it into the Landrover workshop 3 times and they couldn't find any codes or leaks in the system, They did do a repair job on the compressor and yet the problem persisted and I took to calling her "Saggy Arse".
Eventually sick and tired of nearly breaking my neck travelling on the bump stops and forking out money on an aging system that didn't Want to work I replaced the air bags with coil springs.
Not being a fan of "Lifts" I went with the standard height springs/shocks and YES the ride isn't as smooth as the SLS system But it is still very comfortable and more importantly is now 100% RELIABLE.

Yeah I actually love the sls ride so I'll keep it, pulling the abs fuse seems to have stopped it at this stage.

I'm really thinking a faulty slabs unit, or maybe a height sensor could be a possibility

In case you don't know, the bags will not inflate unless all doors are fully closed. I realise this is not your primary issue but it caught me out. Unbeknown to me, the tailgate door was not quite fully shut.

Yeah I'm aware of that, it's like when opening a door it powers up the slabs ecu, it has a fit and dumps all the air, it's still up now a few days later after pulling the abs fuse,
Now that I think of it, the braking has been funny as well for a while, sometimes it's as though the car is braking much heavier than the amount the driver has applied, and it is really quite noticeable, might be time for an ecu swap....

Ok, I'll have a look, but it was ok for months before this started happening

    Saggy d2a

I had a similar problem when I put new airbags in the back of my D2. If your nanocom isn’t running the most up to date firmware it will do what you are saying. Essentially transport mode is selected when the check box isn’t. What happened to me was exactly the same as you describe but mine was additionally dumping whenever you turned the ignition off. Updating the nanocom solved it for me.
