Not bad I recon as they are almost on GVM.

    As a comparison,the diesel we also have,identicle vehicle does either 10 or 10.5 l /100 all day.

So fuel costs for both are very similar, but servicing for the diesel slightly more.
    Interesting Paul, LPG or petrol?
I was horrified with the first few tanks in the work Hilux, I'm lucky to get 500km out of 60+ litres of petrol!
    Today's fill was 480km @ 65 litres!!
    I think it's a 2.7VVTi

Anyway, I checked with the mechanic (we have an in-house one) and Tim said that's normal and right on average for the fleet!

I still struggle with how much fuel it chews.
Glad I'm not paying for it!

Sorry guys,i was talking LPG,my mistake.

    Rick,

I have never checked what they do on petrol, your not the first one to ask.

Ours are 2.7VVTi as well, great little engine.Never had to touch one, some have done over 300000k's,never use any oil.

I think that fuel usage for a petrol hilux, probably isn't too bad, particularly if its got a bit of load in it.

The Perentie - about 12L/100km (4x4, non turbo)

The 101 - 25-28L/100km - you Disco drivers don't have anything to complain about!!!
