    Td5 turbo housing leak?

    Hi all.
I have a leak coming from what looks like the oil return line for the turbo. Have replaced the gasket (found there were actually 2gaskets in there from the previous owner! So probably a long standing issue) but it’s still leaking. I suspect the turbo housing is leaking from the joint at the back of the oil race(see photos). There is an oil mark coming from the joint next to the return line.
Has anyone seen this before? Any known solution that doesn’t require new turbo?
I know another member had oil in a similar spot this past week - didn’t want to hijack their post.
    Thanks in advance. Josh

    Td5 turbo housing leak?

Might be time for one of these

Uprated Hybrid Billet Turbo CHRA Core 452239- Land Rover Defender Discovery TD5 Turbocharger Cartridge

If it's leaking from the joint not sure it'd be repairable without pulling the core apart?
Maybe try some high temp gasket sealant first on the return pipe?

Replace the whole oil return hose, not too expensive - I changed the gasket several times but didn't bother to check whether the hose was flat. They tend to warp.
