At first I thought it only happens on uphills, but it happens on level roads too. I can drive for around 5km then the car cuts out. I then have to bleed the fuel system and then I can go for another 5 km.It is also difficult to start everytime. I cannot see any fuel leakage from the fuel pressure regulator. Also, I can feel the engine idling a little rougher than usual, but not by much. I have recently (3 months ago) fitted new injector o-rings and copper washers.Any help will be appreciated.Thank youDanny
Go straight to replacing the injector seals. Problem will be solved.Had the same problem in Geelong landrover dealer would not listen as to the problem. they replaced seal on fuel filter then the fuel pump and next they wanted to replace the fuel pressure regulator. They thought they new more than a silly old Discovery TD5 2003 model. I kept telling them it was the seals. Finally got my money back and took elsewhere and fixed.
