    Z9 Syntec?

If the average z9 filters to half a human hair,, any ideas what these do?

    You out there Rick?

The standard Z9 were about beta2=27 or 30 (relying on a decaying memory here)
ie. 50% efficient at 30 micron, or a better way to put it, they filter out 50% of 30 micron sized particles in a multi flow SAE test.

A Donaldson or Fleetguard syn media filter are beta2=6 with crazy high flow rates.

These might be a cheap alternative to a Donaldson or Fleetguard syn filter.
I doubt their flow rate is as good though, there is a warning on them not to use in racing applications.
I have one of the syn Ryco's on the work Hilux atm.
