Hi There. I have a 1999 d2 Td5 auto, Recently my son had the car jacked up under the rear diff, As he started letting the car down the car slipped off the jack. The alarm and the indicators went off, after this the ignition lights will work but the car won't turn over. I have checked all the fuses, the x y z switch, Relay's, Starter motor and as long as i'm doing it right I have done EKA as well. I have a Foxwell diagnostic tool and I havn't found any faults. When I use the key programing mode the car will start and run for 5 seconds and then just stop........I'm tearing my hair out. Any help would be awsome.Thank youBarry.

It Sounds like the ECU is immobilized.
Don’t know anything about the diagnostic tool you have, however suspect it won’t be the best help.
I’d check the security status of the engine ECU.
It should say “not immobilised”
The Foxwell is OBDII only, so probably won't give you many, or any, of the D2 TD5 codes anyhow, as the TD5 is pre ODBII ... so, no error codes doesn't mean there are none.
If you can hook up with someone close by to you that has a more capable scanner like a nanocom, would be helpful for 'ya.
If it were immobilised, the small red LED in the middle at the bottom of the instrument cluster would be flashing.
Doesn't flash when not immobilised, should flash when immobilised.
Which way did the jack slip(inwards or outwards)?
if it slipped inwards, and maybe the engine hit the jack on the way down, maybe something has jammed eg. near the alternator or serpentine tensioner or something, and the engine just won't turn.
Can you turn the engine by hand .. say from the crank pulley bolt, or from the viscous fan hub nut?
The other possibility is that perhaps the jolt loosened the starter solenoid wire on the starter, the small wire with the spade connector. Drivers side, under car, easy to spot, just wiggle it by hand and try starting.

Its not the battery is it? eg wont carry the starting load or the connector has gone bad? Makes me wonder if the jolt was enough to fail a battery that was about to fail.
I had a similar problem, tried different battery, got ECU's to swap, looms checked, the lot. The battery voltage was right, it had been on the charger, tried the rear battery up front and it was the same, no jumping.
Turned out both batteries died (I guess one was carrying the other) and when I replaced the battery, boom, all systems go.

The fact that you've had it running means you know it'll actually run, if that makes sense.
Without a Nanocom or similar D2 compliant tool to check faults, you're going to be just checking what you can visually see to be wrong.
Check the small spade connector on the starter motor. These are known to become loose and will result in dash lights and engine not turning.
Do the lights dim when you turn the key? Check battery connections and make sure they are tight.
Slipping off a jack under the diff. And bouncing down will not hurt the car. Slipping off a jack and then the jack striking something may... did it hit anything? There are fuel pipes in that area and if one has become fractured, you may well have air in the system.
Does the fuel pump sound like it is pumping air- listen near the fuel filter/ ros wheel area.
Run the purge sequence if it does.

If the car is starting but cutting out- a check of the immobiliser system is necessary as has been said. Try and get it connected to check settings.
When you mention Key Programming Mode- what do you mean?
